I must say I was completely lucky to have stumbled on Stephanie. If there were 10 stars to rate her I would’ve given her 15 stars. From the first phone contact, to closing it was an absolute pleasure working with her. Dan MacKinnon was fabulous to work with with on our home purchase process in Venice, FL. We were looking for our future full time retirement home but was only able to be travel from Kansas City to Sarasota county for 10 days to view homes. Dan did great in listening to our wants and needs but also did well to educate us on what was available. Due to our limited time, he was excellent on suggesting many homes initially to at least consider but he progressively learned from our reactinos what type of home we would end up being the most satisfied with. We were extremely pleased for Dan walking a fine line of listening to our initial thoughts on homes but pushing us a little to just keep looking at many homes. Melissa stuck with us for the long haul! In 2016, we had driven a few cities and housing communities to get a feel for the area and decided to move to Sarasota. We first met Melissa in Nov 2018 after she set up several houses we wanted to view in various communities. It helped us narrow down what we wanted. We kept in touch for the next 2 years, signed up on their site to narrow down the search (some neat features to narrow the search unlike Zillow and others). We talked via email and text and she answered our questions, gave advice as necessary. We were visiting once again in Nov 16, and were setting up viewings for Monday. Suggested to my wife we see the two we were interested in when we stepped off the plane on Sat instead. Melissa quickly moved things around to make it happen. Even though she had a dinner to attend right after.. One of the two was just what we were looking for and put an offer in that night. Closed at end of December, moving in mid-Jan!
